Mark Twain light, entertaining but nor particularly profound.
Finally tracked down the edition illustrated by Trina Schart Hyman (published by Books of Wonder). So excited to dive in! Maybe this makes me a bit of a mouth breather, but I do wish this edition had foot notes. Ah well, you can't have it all!
This is a classic that deserves its status - I expected it to be dry and boring, and I couldn't have been more wrong. Thank goodness for that.
