This was an enjoyable and quick read. I like these social histories of a particular item, so this book really appealed to me.I can't say it's a definitive history of any of these drinks (beer, wine, rum, tea, coffee, and cola), but it's an engaging little summary of how each of those drinks has been...
This fascinating chronicle covers beer, wine, spirits, coffee, tea and Coca Cola. Each one could have been a book to itself. This made a very nice overview of the subjects.
