This was a book several people mentioned as an awesome book. 4 or 5 star material is what I was told. One of my favourite authors Ilona Andrews loves this author too. I'd like to state that there is NOTHING wrong with this author. She just doesn't tickle my fancy. This story was well written w...

First half - 1 starSecond half - 5 starsSeeing as it's a historical retelling of Cinderella, I was pretty excited about reading A Kiss at Midnight. It'd been a while since I'd read a good forbidden romance themed novel, but the beginning was dull enough that I was certain this one wasn't going to ch...

Lighthearted and sexy, James's take on the Cinderella fairy tale was a delight from start to finish. Kate and Gabriel are certainly honorable, but not without a dash of wickedness to keep things spicy.

This is my second time reading an Eloisa James novel from her Fairy Tale series. I actually started with #2 When Beauty Tamed the Beast, which I thought was slighty better than this one. A Kiss at Midnight, however, provides a promising start to the series. As you can guess this is a retelling of Cin...

This retelling of Cinderella was surprisingly sweet and funny. The funny part I wasn't really expecting. There's a lot of poking fun at all the stuff and nonsense that goes into the fashions of the time (whatever time setting that might be- we are never told and it doesn't really matter, it's not a ...

Audio-Cinderella is not the simple easy going girl of past tales. She has a fire and common sense that will not allow her to fall under a mans rule. Sure, this tales has the evil step mother and a step sister, but all is not as it seems here either. The rats/mice well they are maltese dogs that yap ...

LOVED this one. Simply loved it. I'm a sucker for a good Cinderella story, especially one that doesn't try to be too close to the original. Sweet, funny, sexy, and full of emotion, this one is highly recommended for fans of fairy tales reimagined. 4.5/5 Stars
