I loved it! Meredith is great. I always seem to love the sarcastic ones. lol My favorite guy is definitely Doyle. Those earrings are yummy. Some of the Sidhe are a little creepy though. I mean tentacles? Not so hot.

I read the book and now have listened to the audiobook. I really like doing this because then I can "read" a series again and it seems as if I pick up things I missed before. The narrator started pretty herky-jerky with all the men sounding pretty much the same unless they were Hispanic. Then she...

Bodice ripping with faery veneer. Everything happened in this novel were aimed to show Merry bedding each and every fey existed one after another. A new creature would come, given explicit description about every inch of his body, shoved to Meredith, then get rid off to allow the story to continue a...

What a friggin bizarre book. While, on one level, I really enjoyed it, on another, it seriously freaked me out. I've read LKH's Anita Blake series so i wasn't expecting too much of a difference, but as I read I realized that her skills are much better in writing these erotic type stories then the vampire hunter series. I really enjoyed it despite the amount of sex that the man character seems to have in a mat...

There’s something Ms. Hamilton’s style that’s been bothering me since I first read once of her stories (an Anita Blake novella, part of an anthology). I couldn’t put my finger on it, until I read this book and I had an epiphany. What bothers me is the fact her heroines are utterly irresistible to an...

It took me a bit to get interested since I've spent the last 2 weeks in Anita Blake's world, but once I let go of it I got interested. Also, she introduced a lot of characters at the beginning of the book that do not come into play again. She trys to briefly summarize them at the end, but it's odd t...

Just a quick one here. I got this as a Kindle freebie and I'd never read Laurell K. Hamilton so I was thrilled to take a look. It wasn't a totally exciting, satisfying read. But it's very good and the world is nice and specific. It's not a romance. There's a lot of sex, but this is a story about ...

3.5 Will review later, but basically, this book brought together everything I DON'T like about Hamilton's writing.
