Carr is apparently the master of obvious foreshadowing. Whether it's flooding, fire, bad guys with guns... you always know it's coming within the first 50 pages of a book. I wish she'd hold some of the tricks in her pocket for a little longer.

Really good book with multiple plots, exciting action and heartfelt emotions. Main story was about pregnant Dr June and retired DEA agent Jim. Romance may have taken a back seat to all the action but Jim was steadfast in his love.
