This novel left me quite literally speechless. No way I can review it yet. I will. I just need time for it to settle. I will say this is a long novel, a tome, and I know that would put some people off. Please don't let it. Full review to follow.

This is the greatest book I have ever read(so far). I wouldn't recommend it if you.re going through a depression and I hope the images in the book are just pieces of the author.s imagination.

This story of the strong bond of friendship between four men, Jude, Willem, JB and Malcolm, is a major powerhouse of a book. It will pull you apart emotionally as you read of all the tragedy that Jude has had to endure and his tremendous struggle to heal his wounds as he hides them from the world. ...

This was simply the best most profoundly moving book I've read in years. Possibly ever. Where do I begin? It's tragic, yet not sad. It's hopeful, yet not optimistic. It's a long book that you hope will not end. More than anything, it forces the reader to confront some very difficult questions about ...

And the most successful books are that ones that do that—that leave me in amazement whether it is because of beauty,...

Steeped in Science, Submersed in Story
A Little Life is so many things. It's huge. It's wonderful and it's awful. But I couldn't not read it once I started, even though I could tell how it would end and I was disappointed by that inevitable ending early on.It's the story of mainly one man, Jude St. Francis, and his relationships, domi...

*** This book is difficult to review. And Alona explained perfectly in her review WHY it is so. ***I have a shelf "great reading experience".For a long time, since I added it, there was only one book. But after a while, one by one, I started to add other books to it, great books, books that I loved...
