Beautiful, touching, heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. How many of us know someone like Ove and ignore him or her? How much richer would our lives be if we only took the time to get to know every Ove that has ever come our way?

Let me begin by saying that I love novels that are written about basic human feelings, basic beautiful, “out of the-mainstream” characters, like those in The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Frye, Mrs. Ames, and A. After his wife of forty years dies, Ove becomes a very lonely old man. He never talks to anyone other than ...

Some people lead quiet lives, and when the goodness of it ends, they only want to leave it all behind, but sometimes life itself gets in the way. Read my revised review of this heartwarming book here https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2014/06/28/conditions-of-the-heart/
