What an utterly beautiful surprise this book was. Huzzah JQ! I can't tell you how much I've missed reading her work. I'll be honest and say I haven't been overly impressed with her recent work over the past few years. Her Bridgerton series was her strongest work for me hands down, everything followi...

If you're looking for a sweet historical romance, this is the book for you It's entertaining, funny and witty, it has a great romance with characters you'll love and who love each other like crazy I just have one problem with this, it somehow gets too sweet for me in the second half of the book I ...

Two mentally unbalanced enemies? Isn't that gilding the lily? This author usually has a sure hand on the balance of froth and seriousness, but she seems to have lost control in this one.

This novel is among the best of them, as are all Quinn’s novels. Written with the author’s staple humor, the novel follows two protagonists, Anne and Daniel....

I love Julia Quinn. I can always rely on her books to make me smile. She was beautiful. But that didn't explain it. He'd seen beautiful women before. He'd slept with plenty of them even. But this...Her...She...Even his thoughts were tongue-tied.

"Hello, this is Julia Quinn... Yes, I'd like to phone in a book. Yes. I'd like it to have an earl, a moustache-twirling villain, a sexually scarred governess, cute sibling banter, and a sex scene in the last 50 pages. Thank you. M'bye."

4.5I really like this one .I specially loved the hero .He was normal that's what I liked about him , I am tired of reading about strong alpha males with bulging biceps. He gets scared , he runs away but he is still a good man. The romance , the story line and the dialogues were great. I enjoyed readi...
