4-4.5 stars - This was a very good read that successfully wove together an interesting mystery, spooky paranormal elements, and a nicely developed and satisfying romance. The story follows Matt, a police detective who is called in to investigate the disappearance of a little girl early Christmas morn...

What an enjoyable story! I really loved the main characters, but the side characters also had so much life to them and were really wonderful. Not quite as big a fan of the mystery aspects (I figured out the whodunit far too early, for one thing), but that didn't detract from the story. There were ju...

I really liked this one.The mystery was pretty great and was balanced well with the paranormal/supernatural elements and the romance in the book.I felt like the romance was handled very well, especially since it was dealing with the loss of a beloved partner and the introduction of someone new (as o...

This book was great! I am a big fan of Long Island Medium and even though I'm not sure that I do believe, I really want to and I think that is one of the reasons I found this book so entertaining. Matt isn't a believer, he's a cop. He thinks like a cop, he prefers logic and for everything to make ...

What fun! I thought this would be just a change of pace, instead it was a really entertaining romp. I mean it was yummy. I thought the two MCs were both worth rooting for and the story was fast moving but fully written. And surprisingly there were even two tough, likable female characters. This is wh...

So, so good and just about perfect. Even though I knew who the killer was right off the bat, I didn't GET the full story until the author outlined it. WOW, that blew me away. *shudders*Anyway, the story was engrossing and made it impossible for me to put it down, but I really loved Matt and Kier t...

Lets start at the beginning. The first chapter is (as the blurb describes) when our MC Matt discovers the body of a murdered child, led there by her ghost. Now obviously this sounds sad to anyone, but the slow and quite way this chapter progresses, as Matt comes to the realization of what's happen...

I loved every second of this book. I was grabbed from the very first chapter and engrossed all the way to the end. I loved the mystery, the ghost story, the love story, all of it!

This was a very enjoyable read. There was a heavy mystery/paranormal plotline in addition to the romance that involved the murder of a little girl. It was well-plotted and interesting and the romance was good. I loved the character of Kiernan. Four stars from me.
