4.5 stars. Enjoyed the first half of this m/m sci-fi from Amy Lane tremendously. Anderson is stranded on an escape shuttle when his entire colony (and family) is destroyed in an explosion. To survive for ten years alone he creates a holographic family to keep him company. From his ultimate arrival o...

I've been basically guaranteed that this is worth reading. Will this break my Amy Lane aversion? Hmmm...

The only thing that indicates that is an incredibly angsty book are the reviews... I'm actually not scared to read it, because it apparently hasn't clicked in my mind that this is a do not touch for fluff readers.

I really enjoy books that not only have plenty of chemistry, but a strong plot and plenty of twists to challenge my mind. This book fits the bill. I'd call it a psychological thriller romance...set in future space of course! Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this book! It was moving, sweet, heart breaking, inspiring, and wonderful. Not to mention, sexy at times :) It was an intriguing plot line and I couldn't stop reading once I started. I love CJ and his dedication to and caring for Anderson. I love Anderson so much too. Most people ...

One of the biggest issues I had with this book and what ultimately made me stop reading it is the exploration of ...

Holy crap. This book! THIS BOOK WAS AWESOME! And I will write a review tomorrow when it is not 1.30 in the morning and I stayed up late to finish THIS BOOK. Because I mentioned it's awesome, right? Okay, so I've had a day to regroup and reevaluate a bit. I still love this book but I'm dropping down ...

The Review Where I Just Can't Figure Out A RatingWhen I finished A Solid Core of Alpha last night I wasn't sure how I was going to review it and I had no idea how many stars I wanted to give it. I still don't know how many stars to give it so I'm going to refrain from rating it at all.I was told by ...

I thought I liked a bit of angst with my M/M. I mean, things can't be all saccharine all the time, right? Hell, I didn't even know what angst was 'til I read an Amy Lane book. I've read a couple of her books now and I have to say, I see a theme emerging. She likes angst. Really, really likes it. Lov...
