Cute little story. I really like Virgin River's characters. It's great to see all of them again.

This was a little better than the last book. The two main characters were the main focus of the story and the others were what they should be: support. It was a little interesting living a day in the life of the "other" town folk and in the hills. It didn't exactly scream romance to me though. It di...

I found this a really sweet and funny story. Marcie is one determined, stubborn and annoying lady, she'll do whatever it takes to try and track down Ian Buchanan, just so she can find out why he disappeared after saving her husbands life. It was interesting seeing Marcie on her journey to find Ian a...

Another good emotional romance with a strong heroine, although this story was not quite as action packed as the others in the series. Widowed Marcia determined to find her deceased husbands best friend from the marines, Ian, who has become a hermit in the mountains possibly suffering from PTSD.

I didn't warm up to the story until about 200 pages in, but then the sad bits got to me and I enjoyed it thereafter.

It was a sweet read. A little out there. I don't know if I get going out looking for a friend of a dead husband but hey it was still a nice read. It could have been shorter though.

5+++ stars.Hands down the best holiday-themed romance I have ever read. But, this novel is so much more than simply a holiday romance. By the time I reached this, the 4th in the Virgin River series, I was already so emotionally invested in the characters, that although the residents of Virgin River p...

Finished it in one sitting. Loved it! I can't wait for the next in this series. I really loved Marcie as a heroine, her humor and take on life was so refreshing. Her willingness to adapt to the rugged lifestyle of the mountains made for several good laughs. The premise of her being in Virigin Riv...
