This book has been sitting on my shelf for some time now. I don't recall how I got ahold of it, but that's not really relevant. With Nicholas Sparks you can count on two things, great writing and loads of drama! His books are an emotional roller-coaster that rarely end with a happy ever after! They are draining in a good way! very cathartic!

This is the only Nicholas Sparks book I have read and really liked. Totally different from the movie version, which I happened to like better than the book.

This book was just Ok for me. I found it was written a bit more for younger teenagers maybe? It's probably my least favorite Sparks book so far - I haven't read all of them yet though.
