I don't adore Nicholas Sparks and although this book was kind of good, very touching I do not feel its greatness. Hopefully someday I'll read one of Mr. Spark's books that make me understand his popularity.

My first and ONLY Nicholas Sparks book. Feel good books like this shouldn't have such bad endings. I expect that from a Stephen King novel, didn't expect it from a book that made me feel so good all the way through. So good, but didn't like how it ended.

It was just OK. Rather inoffensive (therefore not memorable). It tried too hard to make pull at the heartstrings, which left me with feelings that felt forced upon.I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with this writer, and now I can sort of understand why people gravitate to Sparks' books. Th...

The issue I have with "A Walk To Remember" is the same issue I have with all of Nicholas Sparks' books. Nicholas Sparks. He's manipulative. He knows what will push certain people's buttons so he writes a book that will push ALL of them for an emotional response. Young love, deadly diseases, death- ...
