I've read some bad reviews of this, so I went in expecting the worst. In all honesty, it was pretty good. Maybe not vintage Reacher, but this was solid. I think it helps when I can say I grew up close to where this all ends. I can visualize the area, know the towns. For me, it made it even more fun...

Finally made it through. I just don't see the appeal to the Reacher character. Too much boasting and killing of innocent people for me. Story had very little substance for me and what it did have, in my opinion, was quite implausible. I need a little more Non-Fiction in my Fiction novels.

I'm still enjoying Jack Reacher's adventures, 17 books into the series. In fact, someone thanked me a couple weeks back for insisting he read The Killing Floor (Reacher #1). Jack Reacher is the man--accept no substitutes.
