A Wrinkle in Time is one of my favorite books. That said, when I heard there was a graphic novel coming out based on the book, I was thrilled. However, my expectations were not met with this version. Maybe this is because A Wrinkle in Time (original) is so close to my heart. But certain images ...
Wonderful graphic adaptation. I like the black/white/blue coloring, only I wish she'd made the Red Eyed Man's eyes red... (and on the color, Calvin's eyes are green and they're supposed to be blue, but minor quibble).
OK I never read the original and apparently I need to? Because this is totally weird and much different than what I was expecting? Over the years whenever I heard "Wrinkle in Time" I think my brain filed it alongside "Westing Game" and OK yes I have now learned they are very extremely different book...
Never have read the actual book, so I think I was a little confused but I did enjoy it despite the length... Would be interested to read the book to get more context..
