An easy, light read that introduces us to the Cattle Valley series. The book gives the merest hint, a tiny mention, of backstory for Ryan, Rio and Nate and then completely drops the subject again. Huh? Why bother! *why yes, yes it peeved me greatly*
I was warned this was a lite read. Okay, forewarned is forearmed. It was a sweet, light read and I'm going to call it eye-candy.
It was nice to see Ryan, Rio and Nate again. When we last saw them in the Good-Time Boys series, Ryan had decided to take the job as Sheriff in Cattle Valley.
