I think I enjoyed this one more than the first in the series. I enjoyed the development between Kit and J.X. . I enjoyed the ending too.

This book is even better than the first one in the series. I get more of what Kit and JX actually have in mind about each other and, especially for Kit, about himself; his anxiety, insecurity, and where/why were those coming from. Holmes may look on the outside as flippant, cynical, stand-offish, sh...

Second installment in Josh Lanyon's Holmes and Moriarity series.Kit Holmes gets a call from his old friend and mentor, and well known author of mystery novels, Anna Hitchcock. This was just damn good...it kept me guessing until the very end and the twist at the end...awesome!! I love Josh Lanyon and he had hooked me again with Kit and JX.This is the second installment of this series and am really liking it so far. Kit is so neurotic (not as lovable as my Adrien) but certa...
Angel Martinez - Writer, Reader, Woman about town
While I wasn't entirely pleased with the first H & M book, it serves as vital groundwork for this second one. Kit, while he hasn't undergone any revolution in character, is trying. He's trying to put his life back together, he's trying to make sense of things and think of others, and, in this story,...

I absolutely loved it!!I thought Josh lanyon nailed the balance between emotion, laughs, mystery and characters. The mystery was as close to Kit's heart (and how come I feel more comfortable calling him Kit after this book? I couldn't after the first one) as his relationship with JX was. I loved how...

I am a big fan of Josh Lanyon. He writes some of the smartest, funniest romance/mystery/capers out there. This one was no exception.I read the original Holmes and Moriarity book, Somebody Killed His Editor, sometime early last year. I loved it. And when KC from Smokinhotbooks tweeted a link to an ea...

Christopher "Kit" Holmes has been summoned by his old mentor to replace her in an amateur writers retreat. When Kit gets there, however, his mentor tells him that the real reason behind her request is to ask Kit to find who is responsible for the threat of her life. At first, Kit is a bit reluctant ...

4.5 stars. Very good m/m romantic suspense/mystery continuing the story of Kit Holmes and J.X. Moriarity, mystery writers (although not coauthors), as Kit flies across the country to play amateur sleuth for a writer friend who thinks someone is trying to kill her.
