The art is GREAT. But I am not on the Frank Miller fanboat - I don't like his version of Batman.
Brutal as all hell, and f'ing AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought Grant Morrison's stuff was going to be my favorite, and even though Frank Miller seems to be hit or miss with Batman, this shit was off the CHAIN! LOVED EVERY FREAKING BIT OF IT.
This was an interesting take on Batman. I don't have a vast knowledge of him or too many comic in general, but some of it was definitely new to me. I wish this had a bit more to it, I know it's only the first volume but I still think for me to fully appreciate it I'll need to read more of this colle...
