The book Allegiant is about a story of the world Tris Prior knew is shattered by violence and power struggles. When offered a chance to explore the world outside of the fence, she takes it. She hopes for a quiet, simple life with her boyfriend Tobias (“Four”) but what they find is the world outside is more complicated than the one they left behind in decimated Chicago. Teaming up with a band of fellow Divergents as well as friends and enemies, Tris and Four return to their faction civil war torn home to finally finish what they started in motion. There's only one choice left to make – regional peace or death.
