Allegra's Song is 99 CENTS for ONE WEEK ONLY!Praise for Alicia Rasley and Allegra's Song:Ms. Rasley's prose never fails to be satisfying, and this novella is no exception to that rule. Both Allegra's and Nicholas's wounds are brought to the surface slowly and enjoyably, with much more story than one would expect in such a short book. What I found interesting was that beautiful Allegra isn't really a heroine type I'm fond of, but the storyteller still made me care about her. Liz Flaherty Alicia Rasley--who incidentally now offers creative writing tips and guidelines at her website--has an impeccable writing style. Her word choices and turns of phrase are near-perfect, and she has a knack for evoking just the right mood in a given scene, whether it be adventurous, humorous or passionate. She also has an excellent sense of pacing and timing. Nonesuch ReviewsFive stars!LGC Smith, GoodreadsFrom the RITA-award winning author of Regency romances, and a Kindle bestselling author!Allegra's Song OverviewThe warrior returns... but he never really comes home. Allegra has longed for the return of her soldier husband. But when the war ends, he is more distant than ever. After months of trying to reach him, she leaves to chaperone her husband-hunting younger sister at a duchess's house party. Only then does Nicholas know that to win her, he must leave the war behind and truly come home to her for good. More Praise:An emotionally satisfying read!Claire Haynes -- Literary TimesThis is a lovely Regency romance. A real gem! ....  All in all, I thought this was a powerful story, filled with big themes and richer than most stories currently available in this genre. There are lovely glimpses of humor, and the true love does, indeed, feel true. M. BrownThis story was a wonderful breath of fresh air in the world of romance. Instead of the usual story of finding a husband, or a wife this book is a sweet tale of a husband and wife finding each other again. After years of separation the characters learn to put aside pride to save their relationship. The renewal of a marriage as a story in a romance novella lightened my heart and gave me hope in a world where marriages are thrown away so easily everyday. Galaxy--Rasley's Regencies have been compared to those of Carla Kelly and  Loretta Chase-- elegantly written and with lively plots and characters.**If you'd like to find out what happens to Allegra's sister and the resident rake, search for The Rake and the Spinster and "Lynn Kerstan."  Or you could save a bit and buy both novellas in the boxed set: The Drewe Sisters.**If you'd like to read about a girl who learns to be careful what she wishes for (but does get the hunky guy in the end), search for Charity Begins at Home.**If you like rogue heroes, you might like Poetic Justice, where the "virile peasant" and the "elite heiress" ally to save the good name of Shakespeare.**If you were looking for the Michael and Tatiana "prequel" to Poetic Justice, simply search under Royal Renegade.**If you were looking for the story of Captain Lord Tressilian, check out The Reluctant Lady.**If you like naval heroes, you might like my short sweet Valentine's novella, The Wilder Heart.**If you were looking for Alicia's Kindle #1 bestselling women's fiction novel, simply search under The Year She Fell.**If you were hoping for something shorter or spicier, check out my pennamed (Cesca Ross) erotic short story The Gift by Cesca Ross. But be warned, it's more graphic than the usual Regency story!**If you were looking for my husband's books about Nepal, search for Light in the Mountains by Jeff Rasley. (Yes, two writers in the same family. Moodiness galore!)
