In this sizzling original romance by Ruthie Knox, two headstrong souls bump heads—and bodies—as temptation and lust bring nothing but delicious trouble. An accomplished lawyer and driven single mother, Ellen Callahan isn’t looking for any help. She’s doing just fine on her own. So Ellen’s more than a little peeved when her brother, an international pop star, hires a security guard to protect her from a prying press that will stop at nothing to dig up dirt on him. But when the tanned and toned Caleb Clark shows up at her door, Ellen might just have to plead the fifth. Back home after a deployment in Iraq and looking for work as a civilian, Caleb signs on as Ellen’s bodyguard. After combat in the hot desert sun, this job should be a breeze. But guarding the willful beauty is harder than he imagined—and Caleb can’t resist the temptation to mix business with pleasure. With their desires growing more undeniable by the day, Ellen and Caleb give in to an evening of steamy passion. But will they ever be able to share more than just a one-night stand? Includes a special message from the editor, as well as excerpts from these Loveswept titles: How to Misbehave, Flirting with Disaster, and About Last Night.

***ARC received through Netgalley***3.5 starsAlong Came Trouble is the second book in the Camelot series, but you can easily read it as a standalone just like I did. This time, the author is telling us Ellen and Caleb's story. It was a sweet romance I enjoyed reading. I liked Ellen and her sassy com...
3.5 starsI love Ruthie Knox's writing. The prequel novella to this series was amazing. However, the characters, aside from Caleb, in this book set my teeth on edge. While I could understand Ellen's POV, she came off as selfish and shrill. Her twin Jamie's side story with the neighbor Carly felt ...
I am shocked by how much I love this series. Ruthie Knox handles the fact that men and women have evolved to be attracted to each other in a very specific way, and how that can be uncomfortable when it bumps up against feminism, really well. But she doesn't do it overtly or with any pseudo-intelle...
3/5; 3 stars; BOverall I enjoyed this contemporary romance story. It was fun to re-visit Camelot and the Clark family. I was pretty turned off by the character of Ellen for much of the story and it took away from some of my enjoyment of the story.
