This is a re-release from the Signet Regency series I used to read in my teenage years. Charming story about two characters who needed to grow up and had done so but lost their spirit in the process. Very charming tale and clean as the old Regency romance novels were. It's also light hearted with...

I really enjoyed this story. There was only a hint of suspense, but the story was more character driven, and how the hero and heroine dealt with their own baggage was compelling enough on its own to keep me reading. I would love to read more romances set in this time period, as the Elizabethan perio...

Actual rating: 3.5 stars It seemed to take forever to really get going, but once it did, it was highly enjoyable. I wasn't sure the author would be able to redeem the hero of this book, because he seemed like such a jerk in the first one. But...all-in-all, I think she accomplished it nicely.

I didn't read the third story because the ward-guar...

Gayle Wilson’s The Soldier’s Christmas Miracle was a cute little story about miracles and lost hope found again, but I couldn’t get past the heroine. She had no idea what she wanted and she got angry when someone tried to show her what it was that she might want and what might be good for her.I felt...

The Diamonds of Welbourne Manor is a three in one regency stories of three sisters who have lived lonley and carefree lives and find love.Period. That pretty much sums up all three stories. Although each story is pretty simple, cut and dry romance and with only a few pages for each story, I wasn't r...
