The author had a pretty exciting life so her evoking the facts as a to-do list made it superficial. She didn't offer as much insight as I wanted either into her work or her personal life. It seemed to me as if she described someone else's life. This book could have been so much better!
An easy and interesting read. The film was based on the 2nd chapter about Lynne's affair with an older man when she was at school. I enjoyed the chapters on her job in Penthouse, meeting her husband David and his untimely death. A lovely read I'd recommended.
I enjoyed this book, I really did, but perhaps less than I thought I would. I read it after seeing the preview for the film and loving it. However, the entirety of the film is contained in one chapter of the book. The rest of the book is not as gripping, though still interesting. I was sad to ge...
