Wonderful. Even after finishing the book you still couldn't exactly sure which of the 4narrators is the one you could believe. Even Anthony Woods has some parts of his story you can't quite believe though I suppose his version is the covering most of the truth.

What sticks in my mind about this book is being consumed with fury for 1/4th of it--and then having the following conclusion be the greatest revenge. A really excellent novel with some very unreliable narrators and detailed characterization. I was amazed at how everything fit together by the end.

Excellent Historical Thriller. Interesting set in and around Oxford with mentions of Abingdon. Only the ending prevents a 5
