I loved this story, and I was all set to give it 5 stars until the whole Ari situation. I know Hunter and Ari get the next book, but why didn't Trip kill Ari's mother after she let go of Hunter?! Since Trip is now bigger and stronger than everyone, it made me mad that he didn't do anything.

Not as good as the first one. Jenner comes off as a big (well, skinny, but...) teddy bear, rather cold and ruthless and terror-inducing, yet the author tries to convince us otherwise.
