I can see why this is her best selling/most popular mystery. It's absolutely fantastic. Even having watched the most recent adaptation, and therefore knowing the 'who', I was still on the edge of my seat while reading. The atmosphere, the pacing, the setting were all spot on.

One of the channels aired (or reran?) the new 2-part miniseries version a couple weeks ago and it is FANTASTIC. Fabulous, so well-done. The acting, the underlying air of superiority and class and old British values, the mounting paranoia, suspicion, feelings of guilt... And there was more than one m...

This is going to be a pretty short review, as I really don't have much to say about it. I enjoyed it immensely and am now hooked on Christie's works--this was the first one ...

I really enjoyed this book, and I sit here wondering "Why haven't I read any Agatha Christie before now?". Someone (no spoilers) sets out to mete their own means of justice to those seemingly above the law by committing 10 perfect murders on the remote Soldier Island. I was guessing the whole book, ...

I love the new covers of these books. They're fantastically adorable & unassuming considering the type of thriller mysteries these books actually are. This is my first Agatha Christie book. I had read some pieces of her work in English class in high school, I believe but never the full story. Bu...
