Holy brother complex. Eat your heart out V.C. Andrews. Seriously this was twisted. Just twisted enough that I'm gonna move on to book two.

And the loooong thoughts were in italics too. I didn't like this very much and skimmed a lot of pages, simply because a lot of side action didn't contribute much to the main story. I very much disliked the whole "women are bad and want to rule the world" story line. Also there were so many gay...

I'm going to be honest here. This book is not for everyone. And I'm not even sure it was for me. It's dark, gritty, brutal, and not easy on people. Take the time to get to know the situation and the characters and, because it's first p...

The second installment of this stunning series brings with it a story as compelling and fast paced as the first. A usual, the political intrigue and high fantasy-esque atmosphere is fascinating and frankly, makes the book near impossible to put down. It's difficult to describe and talk about a book ...

Read this quickly with a whole heap of skimming. It was in part compulsive reading but otherwise rather boring.'When a person loses his freedom he goes through the same stages as those of the mourning process: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.'
