"Anna Karenina" (ros. Анна Каренина) to klasyczna powieść psychologiczna rosyjskiego pisarza Lwa Tołstoja. Lewin kocha Kitty, Kitty Wrońskiego, Wroński Annę, Anna jest siostrą Obłońskiego, a jego żona siostrą Dolly - ten schemat spaja wątek dwóch różnych losów: Anny i Lewina.

(Original Review, 1981-02-24)If you're not familiar with the The Orthodox Church's intricacies, don't bother reading the novel. Ahead of his time Tolstoy is a guru and a revolutionist and a wise man all at the same time. Did you k...

3.0 Anna Karenina (Oxford World's Classics)
The number of times I've written this review, erased it, and completely rewrote it again from a different standpoint speaks volumes of the conflicting nature of ANNA KARENINA itself. Is it a trashy melodrama that wouldn’t be out of place on daytime television? An insightful glimpse into the economy ...
