this was utterly adorable. Susan Erickson narrating a light romantic comedy was certainly a change, but I did love her interpretation of it. I thought Alex was so adorable, I was rooting for him all the way. I could understand Nina's reluctance, but I'm not sure how she was able to hold out for s...

EDIT: Bumped up to 3 stars because this had a great workshop scene. The characters' comments about the Jane Errs book were pretty insightful, and they had good pointers for someone looking to write a collection of anecdotal essays. Previous review:2.5 stars, in that this wasn't terrible, and it was ...

Guaranteed to improve your mood, inflict snickers, and induce guffaws. According to the author, this is the Fred’s book, and she is right.Who is Fred? Fun romance between an older woman and younger man. I so enjoyed her dog Fred and the hero was also adorable in the beginning plus I always like when a couple are friends first. Dr. Alex gets to meet his upstairs neighbor editor Nina when he returns her dog Fred.

After reading and loving "Bet Me," I bought a lot of 9 Jennifer Crusie books on eBay. This is the first of the lot that I've picked up, and it was soooo worth it. Loved this book, and loved Fred! I was ready for a charming, lighthearted and frothy type of read with very little angst, and this book d...

This was a cute, fun, fluffy read that I read start to finish in about 2 hrs. Nothing deep or thought-provoking, but I enjoyed it just like I always do with Jennifer Crusie's books.
