It's evidently a parody of the fairy-tale genre rather than anything spooky, but who can resist a title like that?
I added it to the list.
Also Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's non-series "Good Omens" (ISBN 10: 0060853980; ISBN 13: 9780060853983), for which there is also a highly acclaimed BBC 4 radio adaptation (ISBN 10: 1910281913; ISBN 13: 9781910281918).
There's also all of Pratchett's TIffany Aching series, which is a spinoff of sorts of his Witches series: The Wee Free Men (9780385605335), A Hat Full of Sky (9780552552646), Wintersmith (9780552562898), I Shall Wear Midnight (9780552555593), & The Shepherd's Crown (9780857534811).
The Cahill Witch Chronicles by Jessica Spotswood (first one is Born Wicked). This is a really interesting YA series set in an alternate history colonial America with witches.
Jackaby by William Ritter: I loved the first book of this series, and I've been holding off on reading book 2 until book 3 is released, which it just was!
Also, I have Daughters of Witching Hill by Mary Serrat on my TBR - OBD recommends it!
Bedknob and Broomstick, by Mary Norton. A pair of novellas set in World War 2, and the origin of the Disney movie with Angela Lansbury. (Plot is not same as movie, btw. Though you can see what they pulled out of it to make a movie.)
The Witches, by Roald Dahl.
Uprooted, by Naomi Novik. A story based on the folk tales of eastern Europe, featuring magicians, witches, and an evil forest.
YA -- Gregory Maguire: "Wicked" (ISBN 13: 9780061350962; 0061350966)
Sorry 'bout that...
Captivated, by Nora Roberts. (Note: first in Donovan series. All qualify, as all couples feature witches.)
Copied from the comments section of Moonlight Reader's suggestions post (http://moonlightreader.booklikes.com/post/1591111/a-few-bingo-suggestions):
Elentarri's Book Blog:
Nearly all [Patricia McKillip's] books have some sort of sorceress/sorcerer/witch/wizard in it. Od Magic is a good one if you want a wizard/sorcerer and a magic school.
Also, ISBN for a "regular" copy of Susanna Clarke's "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell": 9781408856888
Once things quiet down, I need to go through the lists and use them as a jumping off point for librarian clean ups.
And thanks!
Witches' Brew by Morgana Best (9781925674088)
Witches' Brew by Terry Brooks (9781841495576)
Morrigan's Cross by Nora Roberts (9780515141658) -- probably the other 2 books of the Circle Trilogy would work here as well.
Dance Upon the Air by Nora Roberts (9780515131222) -- again, probably the other 2 books of the Three Sisters Trilogy will work here as well.
It Takes a Witch by Heather Blake (9780451235527)
Elizabeth by Ken Greenhall (9781943910670)
Blood Magick by Nora Roberts (9780425259870) -- add it? Book 1 of the Cousins O'Dwyer Trilogy ("Dark Witch") is already on the list.
Blood Magick is actually the third book in the trilogy; Dark Witch is the first. :)
A Match Made in Spell by Regina Welling & Erin Lynn (9781541188556)
Familiar Motives by Delia James (9780451476593)
-- also "A Witch's Cat Mystery" #1, "A Familiar Tail" (9780451476579)
A Witch's Handbook of Kisses and Curses by Molly Harper (9781451641851)
-- as well as Half-Moon Hollow #1, "Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs" (9781416589426)
