Arthur Conan Doyle: "The Adventure of the Sussex Vampire" (ISBN 13: 9781447404255; ISBN 10: 1447404254) -- also for "Gothic" and "Genre: Mystery" (it's a Sherlock Holmes investigation, but an unusually spooky one)
Angela Sommer-Bodenburg's "Little Vampire" series (ISBNs of the first book -- "The Little Vampire" -- are ISBN 13: 9781842704448 and ISBN 10: 1842704443) -- YA series, so would also work for "YA Horror"

I thought the square needed vampires AND werewolves. Otherwise why are they squaring off with "versus"?

Also "God Save the Queen" by Kate Locke (ISBN 9780316196123).

Not forgetting Anne Bishop's The Others series.

And for anyone thinking of starting L K Hamilton's Anita Blake books; be warned. They go downhill faster than Franz Klammer.

This one could be a real challenge for me. Twilight style Romance just isn't my thing!

There are vampires and werewolves in Terry Pratchett's Night Watch series (I'm reading "Feet of Clay" -- it even has both of them!).

Well I went on a search last night and found myself in the Urban Fantasy section, someplace I never go! But I did find 2 going for free that might not suck.

Bloodfire by Helen Harper (317 pages)
I downloaded them of course because you never know how long they're free. Both appear to have both Vamps and weres so fingers crossed that one of them is decent quality writing.

Atrix Wolfe by McKillip has a sort of shape shifting wolf thing in it.

Linda Hilton:
Jennifer Roberson has a whole series on shapeshifters, the Cheysuli, but I don't know if there are any wolves in it.

God's War by Kameron Hurley has both dog and raven shapeshifters, so it would probably work for either werewolves or monsters. Plus massive man-eating bugs.

Just for the record, Bloodfire turned out to be rather good and has a variety of weres so would suit werewolves or monsters.

Nalini Singh's books on the Psy/Changelings saga would qualify
