A fiction in the form of letter, tells a story of a murderer told by him in the form of a letter to Chinese Premier. A satirical take on India's rural class, administrations, politicians, law and order and other civic functions. A saddening truth which even though I would like to deny but can't do i...

Unusual to feel sympathy for a really disgusting and unethical hero, but that's what made the book great.

This wasn't a book that I read FOR my book club, but it was a book that everyone in my bookclub read, passing around one member's copy from person to person. It was good, not amazing, but good.

Everyone acknowledges the farce, and plays along. Overall, the book gave me the feeling we’re doomed, though ...

This is a dark, biting, unsubtle look at 21st Century India, stuck in the mire of a corrupt, cynical past, and debauching and slaughtering its way into a corrupt and cynical future, told by a working class fellow who, through ambition, intelligence, and a willingness to be utterly ruthless is clawin...
