I got bored and the story lost momentum. Too much focus on past pain and suffering and not enough focus on things that might actually make the story interesting or move it forward. Also, the creepy cover kept me from picking up the book again.

This one might be my favorite of this series so far! I had little to no interest in Dmitri before this book but I loved his story. Can't wait to read more in this series.

Well, this was dark, intense, traumatic and heartbreaking - decidedly not my usual cup of tea - an excellent addition to the series, and Dmitri became hugely more sympathetic, but it will be a while before I read it again.
