3 Stars.I did like this one but there is something about it that I can't quite put my finger on as to why it's not great to me. I loved the first book. I absolutely still love the main characters. But I think this one was more of a "filler book" and alot of times I don't do well with those.

Hmmm, I’m not clear on my thoughts about this one, other than that I didn’t like it as much as the first. I found the initial 50% to be pretty dragging but read on because I’d found investment in the characters in Angel’s Blood. And the 2nd 50% of the book did pick up. But there were quite a lot of ...

Reread: Awesome book, no surprise. There's a lot of material covered in this one, so I'd recommend a reread for anyone before going through to the next installment.First Readthrough Review: (link to review)This installment covers some of the fallout from book one's ending, starting with Elena's "reb...

Eleven days until the release of ARCHANGEL'S CONSORT, re-read of Book #2 complete. I had remembered the aching tension between Elena and Raphael for the first half of the book, as Raphael has waited over a year for her to wake up from her transition coma, and her body is still too weak to withstand...

Well, not an overload, not really. Just a need, one that doesn'...

Still working on rev...-Between a 3 & 4.-Middle book.-Book 1 was very fast-paced, this one not.-The world is amazing. We learn more about angels & Raphael's Seven.-I think I am in alphahole overload right now. Raphael in the beginning pissed me off. Things on the relationship side felt a bit more ba...

*4.5 Stars* This was good and disturbing all at the same time. I can really get lost in this world. The world-building is absolutely amazing. I am in awe of Nalini Singh's ability to create these worlds I get immersed in. I really wanted Elana to get stronger. I didn't like seeing her vulnerabl...
