As I Wake is a powerfully emotional driven novel, that includes mystery, intrigue, and a plot that's filled with ambition and wonderful development. The idea that dreams can transport the main protagonist, Ava, to another world leaves the reader curious and wanting to find out more about these dream...

If the concept is what I think it is, then it's one of my favourites in fiction. And right now this book, despite how much I like its sparse prose, isn't exactly jaw-dropping. So that's disappointing.Update: Yep, it was disappointing. I was really hoping it'd be better, despite all the low ratings.

Sentence: I sentence Elizabeth Scott to another world where this story makes sense.Rating: 1.5/5Review: When I read this book I realized why I had sworn off teen books for a month. Now don't get me wrong, Scott is a wonderful writer. I've read much of her other works and some of them are my favourit...

I really love Elizabeth Scott. She really has some great YA Romances out there. I really wanted to love this one, but in the end, I just wasn't feeling it. Going into the book, I had read a few conflicting reviews. I decided to try it anyway. I'm not sorry in the least for buying it and trying it ou...

Ava wakes up in a world that feels hollow and empty to her. Names mean something but the people to whom the names are attached don't match. Is she really awake?Solid story that starting out confusing and settled into being a fast-paced story of sorrow, love, and loss. Which world is real? Does Mor...

This is a perfect example of a story plot that could be GREAT, but because the author is so damn greedy with info the reader gets frustrated by all the secrecy, so much that by the time things are revealed, (we the readers) really don't care!Things I got sick of reading:"I am Ava, just not this Ava,...
