Liar and Spy is not as good as When You Reach Me (but then, what is? Besides A Wrinkle in Time). The story feels a little sparse, but overall I enjoyed it.

An awful lot like When You Reach Me--the two feel very similar when you read them. I really liked the group of friends that Georges had in this book. I didn't really see any of the twists coming, but I would still say this book is good, not great.
