I feel almost as bad about my lackluster feelings about this book as I do the fact that I've never made it all the way through a Tolkien novel. It's like a betrayal of nerdkind. But, well. It deserves to be so much more well known then it is!From the first page of the prologue to the very last word, I was completely hooked. I am going to have to get the other two books of the trilogy as soon as I can...
