The end was a little more interesting, but the beginning dragged.

I devoured this book--started last night and finished it today. I love the way Stiefvater grabs you and keeps you by the throat to the very end. Things I liked: Stiefvater really knows how to work edgy characters and still make you like them. I fell in love with Nuala from the very beginning. For me...

Liked it better than Lament, liked the fact that the book is focused on James, but still found it a bit dull. The action in both books didn`t happen till near the end. I still really liked both books but they are not a keeper.

I wasn't all that impressed with the 2nd book to this series, I much preferred the first.Although, the story wasn't all that bad and I enjoyed it to the most part.

This was way better than Lament!I love James! He was goofy, cocky and really such an interesting character. I enjoyed reading the book in his point of view as well as Nuala’s. Both had such amazing personalities that made you laugh and cry the same time they felt it throughout the story. The first f...

James Morgan is such a smartass and that's what made this book so fun to read. I don't think I expected to laugh out loud as much as I did, but it's hilarious. James is just so likeable as a character and his friendship with Mr. Sullivan is perfect. I also wondered how James would fit with a female ...

I fought to the finish this book. SPOILERSIt's book #2 in Books of Faerie and I really, really wanted James and Dee to get together and fall madly in love. So when Nuala came on the scene and James started liking her and Dee kept doing hot/cold yo-yo with James, I'd get frustrated, stop reading an...

by Maggie StiefvaterI think I am probably the only person in the whole world who didn't LUURRRVE this book, and I'm sort of cringing over even admitting it at all. Unfortunately, I happen to be someone who is really turned off by multiple-character narration 99% of the time. That is, I realize, co...
