Original review: http://onabookbender.com/2012/08/08/review-bayou-moon-by-ilona-andrews/I further retract any disappointment I had over this series not having the same main characters every book. Cerise and William were a ton of fun, and I really enjoyed the way William was. Because he is a change...

I love it to pieces! I am so glad we still see some of the old characters, I am a sucker for learning about them(and seeing them happy).

Out of all the Edge books so far, this one has my favorite romance. I appreciate William's vulnerability and it was easier for me to buy the mutual connection between him and Cerise.I have to say though, that the Edge books seem somewhat formulaic to me, particularly in the romances. It was good. I liked the pace. I do get a little overwhelmed with the elements and descriptions of the swamp but it does help set the scene. Also, lots of characters in this particular book. Several times I had to stop and think about who was who and what was what. Overall a very good read.

To Read Or Not To Read, That's The Question
I love Ilona Andrews. I wish they wrote every book I read. They can do no wrong. Their books are made of WIN. If you don't believe just read one (ok, the first book of the Kate Daniels series isn't perfect, but every other book they wrote pretty much is).

William Sandine is a changeling, raised in the Weird, a magical world where the geography in some ways mirrors our world, but things are very different and they have magic rather than technology. Being a changeling means he turns into an animal, in his case, a wolf. He is not a were-wolf, as such, h...

Oh, MY, now I'm hooked with this series. I thought On the Edge was a good start, even if I said that I wasn't as impressed like I was with Magic series. But Bayou Moon was a BLAST!! I love William so f*cking much! I already love him when he first appears in On the Edge. He is a complicated yet "simp...
