Najnowsza wersja nieśmiertelnej bajki "Piękna i Bestia"?

Who doesn’t love The Beauty and the Beast? Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone looked beyond our outer appearances and actually saw our inner beauty? For most of us, we could reap those benefits and for the others, do you think they could actually change without having something catastrophic happen to t...

This was my first Alex Flinn book. It was actually really good! A really good retelling of Beauty and the Beast. It's actually what gave me the liking towards retellings. And my inspiration for writing a retelling myself! This was also the first book I read with profanity in it. I felt somewhat unco...

This was a very sweet retelling of the classic Beauty and the Beast story. Maybe not "great" literature but very enjoyable. Fans of fairy tale retellings and hopeless romantics will enjoy this.

Here's the thing: when you do fairytale updates, you can't just cut-and-paste them word for word into a modern setting. They just don't work well that way. For one thing, fairytales have been around for a long time. They're very familiar to most people, so if you don't do something new and interesti...

For someone who doesn't particularly like YA books and doesn't particularly like first-person narrative (if it isn't the Fever series, of course), this story pleasantly surprised me. Not in a OMG-I'll-read-only-YA-from-now-on way and not even OMG-what-a-wonderful-story-more-stories-should-be-like-...

Beastly was hard to get into at first for me. Kyle was just SO self absorbed I had a really hard time reading him., but that's the point I guess. He is a beast after all, he has to be shallow and self absorbed at first. Once the transformation takes place the story starts to pick up, but the chang...
