(This is a three-and-a-half star book for me, but I bumped it up to four because I know how hard books are to write!)Author Williams does an excellent job of place and time as she depicts a summer on the East Coast in the 1960s. Tiny Little Thing is a story of power and family, broken trust and secr...
Williams' books veer a little more toward the "chick lit" genre than I normally read, but I enjoy them. The Summer Wives is no exception. This book was everything I didn't realise I was looking for, and more! Totally blew me away. The style, the plot, the end, everything. I know I'm gushing a bit but I really loved how Vivian's story was told and how Violet's played out beside hers. Can't recommend this enough.

Quite possibly the best Beatriz Williams novel yet. I fell in love with all the characters and felt drawn into their lives. I felt their sorrows and celebrated their joys. This one kept me up reading very late, as I could not put this book down. The ending was one of the best.
