I wanted to give this book 4 stars but I'm not really satisfied with how it ended so it's getting 3 instead. This story doesn't really conform to the ways most shifters tales are. The story spans about three days and in that time period Mal and Zach wake up to find they're chained together, they don...

It wasn't exactly awe-inspiring.I feel like the way the progression is handled isn't quite effected. It was rather muddled.Still, an interesting character piece, I think.
If we are all made in God's image, does that mean God is gender fluid.....
Not bad. Scary in spots. MC's could have been flushed out a bit more. Story could have been a little tighter. Not sure I believed the MC's would have been as easy about there predicament. A short story that could have been really could with some depth and character development. Too many things were unexplained, vague or glossed over. I did like both Zach and Mal and really would have appreciated more details of both. In and of itself, nothing to write home about.

The little explanation at the end where the author said she'd always wanted to write a story about two men chained up in a basement, falling ...

Short, but incredibly well devloped considering the length. I really was able to get a good feel for the chracters, and their developing relationship. Zack is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters, and I look forward to finding out more about the both of them.
