So I was feeling wistful, thinking I wish I could read a series like Moning's Fever Series ( [b:Darkfever|112750|Darkfever (Fever, #1)|Karen Marie Moning|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1320533920s/112750.jpg|108558] ) so I started reading this one. Not quite. It reminded me of when I watched all Miyaz...

This would've been really good if not for the heroine. She's soooo judgmental and jumps to conclusions straight ahead. I'm glad that Grimm set her straight at one point. The hero was of course, annoying at first but very very endearing in the end. I love how it worked out but I don't love the heroin...

I couldn't do it. This book was just...weird.I didn't get the cheesy "humor" and the characters seemed too caricature-like and flat for my taste. I didn't care for the "love-triangle" the author sets up in the first 50 pages or so. I didn't care for what's her name or Hawk. Too many good books o...

Finally I meet one of the highlanders. It was good . Not on the level of the fever series but good . The hawk was great and I think I'm starting to see my gr buddy Vika's fascination with kilts! They definitely come in handy. I did have a little bit of a problem with Adrienne ,the mc ,though. For ...

A fun and light read for a lazy rainy day. I liked the mix of magic and romance and how it ties in with the authors later books. I always like consistency. My only complaint is the same as always...a lot of these romance books have too many contrived misunderstandings to create conflict. And I alway...

Curious to see how the Fever series carries over into this one. It's *ahem* very different. But for a paranormal romance, this was better than most.

I may be a fan of Karen Marie Moning, but this series of hers just isn't rocking my boat the way the Fever series does. The story was all over the place, the characters were too whiny and back & forth with their decisions, and, not gonna lie, it was quite ridiculous. This is the kind of fluffy readin...

This book was good but not great. It just didn't seem to have a nice flow to it. I am going to keep reading this series as I am told the books get better later in the series.
