9-12 Half-way through on the reread, I wondered why I ranked it four stars. On disc 7 now, of 10, I understand. :-) It's the humor.

Roarke and Eve on Honeymoon - off planet and what do they come across? A suicide. Of course it doesn't turn out to be a suicide, because soon there's a whole spate of them and they all have one thing in common - a burn mark on the brain. How is it happening? We enter a world of virtual reality. E...

Not as good as the previous books in the series which was a little bit of a let down. Not as gripping nor as intriguing either.

★★★★★ Man-oh-man! This series is good - and just keeps getting better. Susan Ericksen does an excellent job of narrating this one. Glad I decided to re-read this series via audiobook.

This one kind of creeped me out with all the mind control although it was a very good read! I started teaser at the back of the book for Ceremony in Death and whaaa?? Chanting? Oooh! That sounds creepy too! I may have to break things up with a little Jennifer Crusie. :)

View on Under the CoversStarting off with a sexy pic of Roarke again...because I can. RAPTURE IN DEATH is by far my favourite of the entire series and that’s quite a statement since I loved all the books leading up to this one. There was just something about this book that lured me in from the get-...

This was, IMO, the weakest of the first four books in the series. It started rather slow, dragging its feet, it picked up pace only somewhere in the middle, once again slowed down, and rushed to the finish in those last few pages. The biggest problem with me was the “lack of romance” between Eve and ...

I really liked this one. Eve and Roarke are still great together. Their relationship continues to evolve and I love any scene with them together. The mystery was also thoroughly creepy. Totally addicted to this series.

I definitely am into this series. I love Eve and Roarke and this futuristic scenario. Great! I'm going to read the next books.
