This is what reading should be!! Turning from page to page, absolutely and completely emotionally invested in the characters and feeling like you're right there, experiencing things through their eyes, their fingers and their brains even... Awesome book.

I remembered last week that I was supposed to read this book for the Women of the Otherworld reading challenge. Now that I've read it, I can honestly say I have no idea what made me wait this long to read it. I did enjoy it, a lot I might add. What I really liked about this book was that there wasn't...

Reviewed at http://www.mandikayereads.com/archives/1188I discovered Kelley Armstrong and this series a few years ago. Unfortunately, I didn’t start at the beginning! I actually started with Dime Store Magic and Industrial Magic, but fortunately, this early in the series it wasn’t as bad a gaffe as i...

Downgrading my rating of this. Trying to reread and I find myself skipping most of the explanation and build up - it's not holding my attention at all, even though it should be. The first sex scene with Clay and Elena bothers me, as even though it ends as consensual, it starts out very much not cons...

Reviewed by: Rabid ReadsI finished listening to this audiobook a few weeks ago and have been procrastinating on writing my review ever since. This was a rare reread for me because it was chosen in my online book club as this month's selection. I was reminded how this was the book that showed me I could like werewolves because it was the first that made me care about them. I hold every werewolf (and other were creatures) to a standard set ...

Elena Michaels is the only female werewolf in existence. By choice she lives apart from her pack, making a semblance of normal human life for herself in Toronto, with her human partner philip. By day she works as a journalist, and at night she goes on secret runs in her wolf form. It's fairly cle...
