Well written and strong werewolf novel from pretty much the same world view as Laurel K Hamilton. The main character is the only female Werewolf and has to work out who is killing both humans and other werewolves.
Rating: 2.5 Stars (Generously Rounded Up)I’ll cut straight to the chase: Bitten is a sore disappointment. As a fan of werewolf novels – in fact, they’re my favorite paranormal creature by far – and as a fan of Kelley Armstrong, I expected to like this one, if not love it. Armstrong’s The Darkest Pow...
More than just your typical snarky heroine mystery-solving action babe book, [b:Bitten|11918|Bitten (Women of the Otherworld, #1)|Kelley Armstrong|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1306101770s/11918.jpg|2606334] has emotional depth and really well-developed characters that makes it so much more. After rea...
Re-read by audiobook. My previous read was before I joined Goodreads, so this review will be new.Another example of some pivotal moment to me, being narrated in a quick dismissive way. The scene where Clayton is sitting outside the fence all day on the off chance that Elena may come home was so s...

One of the first paranormal novels that I read and it was one of the ones that not only introduced me to the paranormal world, but helped get me hooked on the genre
Didn't really like Elena , didn't like the way she treated Clay either. I kept waiting waiting for Clay to say fuck this shit and stop begging for Elena's attention and love but it never happened .
I see why so many people like this book (good first person narrator, pack bonds that are deep and relevant) but I lost interest about halfway through. In general I like "bad boy" heroes but Clay never grew on me. He seems little more than an immature college boy who tries to do better... life has ta...
I give up. I've been meaning to put it down several times, but a part of me wanted to read this through the end. But right now, I just don't care anymore. Life is too short and there are other books beckoning, and would probably engage me.It was a long shot anyway, I'm not really into adult romance ...
