My job is to keep the honest vamps honest, and make the rest dust.
The bloodsuckers call me Black Heart, because I'm just as undead as the rest of them. But you can call me Sable.
When a gang of vampires start killing – no, slaughtering – werewolves, the police have no choice but to call me in to stop them. Time is of the essence, because peace between vamps and wolves is tenuous at the best of times. If I don't act fast, Dallas could end up a battlefield with all of us – humans included – caught in the crossfire.
Before I know it, I'm knee deep in vamps, shifters, zombies, and witches, all wanting to snuff out my beautiful undeadness. Someone seems determined to make sure this war gets going, so much so that the rogue vamps aren't just garden variety nasty, they were created for the sole purpose of igniting this paranormal powder keg. But who the hell would be that crazy? And why are the police suddenly looking in my direction?
Some days, it really sucks to be me.

About the Author:
Tom Gallier was born in Beaumont, Texas, to Texan/Cajun parents. He served 7 years in an Armored Cavalry Regiment (11th ACR Blackhorse Regiment), learning no useful skills. After the Army he went back to school to study electronics, figuring that would be a profession with job security. In 2008 he was laid off. It wasn’t the first time or last time he was wrong. But while in school, and holding down a full time job, he began writing in his spare time. In the mid-nineties he had his first short story sale and publication. He shares his life with his wife and their Yorkie American Princess. He writes Fantasy short stories and novels under “Tom Gallier” and Urban Fantasy under “TW Gallier.”
