This is Nora Roberts 2009 Romantic Suspense, I first read it in 2009 and enjoyed it just as much now as I did then. The beginning of Black Hills, the first 92 pages is the background on Lil and Coop, about how they met as children and how they grew from friends to lovers and then broke up. I found i...

Never having read a Nora Roberts book before, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised, fast read, great characters, romance, suspense, just an all around good read. :)

I bought Black Hills in July, the week it was released. I finished reading the book yesterday (December 6th). It took me 5 long months to finish...

Lil Chance fell in love with Cooper Sullivan when he first came to her small town in South Dakota. His parents were making gestures at saving their marriage, he was being packed off to his mother's parents. They fall in love over the years and then, suddenly, he stops coming back.Lil is gutted but...

When I read this book a thought flashed in my mind. I was reminded of when I watch So You Think You Can Dance (my reality tv crack!) and the judges go on about the dancers' technique vs. their performance. Where the Technique is shown in the training and the practice whereas the performance is tha...
