Well, I've been waiting for one of the Hollows books to bring a conclusion to the myriad stories being told. All of these secondary charaters...Nick, Trent, Peirce, Ivy, Jenks (and Madalena), the witch council, etc....there are so many people involved with what seems to be a conspiracy to bring dow...
Posted on Under the CoversI write this review with a frown on my heart. Kim Harrison keels me!BLACK MAGIC SANCTION is a non-stop ride that that soars to great heights and at other times, makes your heart feel lower than dirt. Rachel Morgan cannot seem to catch a break. It seems as if she’s got the w...
As powerful as Rachel Morgan has become over the course of this series, it is easy to forget that she is not the most talented witch out there. But now that she is shunned and the witches' council is after her, it's a truth that cannot be ignored. The council kidnaps Rachel in retaliation for her de...
This was a good continuation of the series, but nothing really made me love it. I do like the focus being back on the witch/elf/demon connections rather than the vampires. I tire a bit of Rachel's boyfriend situation, but then I'll probably never be happy with how that resolves itself now that Kiste...
I am now totally in awe of the power of what love between friends can accomplish... In this book the saddest event happens to Jenks and thanks to Rachel and the bond the two have forged he makes his way through it.. Rachel is as usual in so much trouble during Black Magic Sanction that the action i...

Reading the opening chapter of PALE DEMON sent me back to re-read BLACK MAGIC SANCTION to tide me over until the next book in the series comes out. I was not disappointed, each reading of the Rachel Morgan books is a joy. I love re-reading the special moments that I remember, and feel like I disco...
Maybe this isn't the kind of book you can listen to on audio. Its seemed like I've been plugging in to it for days and not getting anywhere. I think the problem lies partly with me. I've never read a Rachel Morgan book so should know better than to start in the middle of a series and be able to unde...
