Probably one of my favourites of the old skool bodice rippers. Henry VIII here is a lusty, go after anything in a skirt, with a profane mouth. Oh well, but it's still a fun read, and one of Ms. Small's better novels. A sentimental favourite of mine.
When this book started out, I thought, "Oh great, a book about a perfect family, marrying their perfect husbands and living happily ever after." And then Blaze's life is turned upside down and her sisters aren't as perfect as we thought. The book ended up being really good and I enjoyed reading it...
